Databricks Engineer
Job details
We are looking for a Databricks Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions within our Business Intelligence and Data Platform environment.
In this role, you will develop and optimize data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for analytics and reporting. You will work at the intersection of business and technology understanding stakeholders’ requirements and translating them into robust, secure, and efficient data solutions.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Support the existing Data Warehouse team during a DWH migration
- Design and implement Databricks-based frameworks and data pipelines
- Provide technical guidance to the data engineering team
- Work on ETL, data processing, modelling and optimization
- Support cluster configuration and performance optimization
What we are looking for
- Strong Databricks expertise
- Hands-on experience with Python/PySpark and SQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical, communication skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative attitude towards working within a development and support team
- Good use of English language (written and speech)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Data Vault modelling and data streaming
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Unity Catalog, Splunk
