During the first half of the year, the upward trend of employment in the IT field continued, the new challenges being those related to the recruitment process, shows an analysis of the Romanian company EXE Software.
Similar to other areas, the selection of new people in IT companies has undergone various transformations, both administratively, with every stage of the recruitment process now taking place online. The advantages of this are that the process becomes more time-efficient, and it provides greater flexibility, which is appreciated by both companies and employees.
Due to remote work and the flexibility gained during the pandemic, EXE Software has broadened its search for people, including people from other geographical areas, different than the one in which the company operates.
“Last year, we managed to increase almost all the technical teams and, at the end of 2020, we reached a record number of employees, so we continue the trend of enlarging the teams and attracting new talents. At the moment, we are working on developing strategies to attract candidates, but also to improve the experience of participants in the recruitment process. That’s why we strive to build a relationship with potential candidates, increase awareness about our brand and highlight why we are a suitable option for them.
As far as our way of working is concerned, we have continued to collaborate remotely, and visits to the office are occasional, at the request of team managers or company management. Those who prefer to work from the office are free to do so, respecting all protection measures against COVID-19 and, in the fall, we want to organize an event within the company, together with our people, to whom we prepare surprises and activities that will unite us even more “, added Karina Tătui, HR Manager EXE Software.
At the moment, the company has vacancies in Business Intelligence teams, with open roles both in the teams that use Cognos TM1 suite and those that work with Microsoft technology. Furthermore, the company has open positions within the WEB, Mobile Development (.Net, Xamarin framework) and Business Analysis teams.
The internships will most likely be resumed starting next spring when the company will organize a training program for students or fresh graduates, through which participants will be able to complete their knowledge acquired in college.
